Criticizing superior martial artists

I've noticed the tendency of certain groups of martial artists you run into to criticize well knownor well developed martial artists. like what are presumably people in the "adept" stage criticizing people obviously in the mastery stage of whatever art it is that they do.
This presents an interesting question: do junior martial artists have the right to question and criticize senior artists? What do you think?

I believe in always questioning but at the same time, if the cup is too full, then one can never learn. Hard to balance.
